Chief Kefas Wungak Ropshik has reacted to reports making the rounds online claiming that he is planning to run for Governor of Plateau State under the African Democratic Congress (ADC). He has described the story as false and misleading, urging the public to ignore it completely.

According to him, at no time has he declared interest in the governorship, nor has he considered leaving his political party or associating with the ADC. He explained that the claim is simply a made up story designed to confuse people and misrepresent his political plans.

Chief Kefas made it clear that he remains a committed member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). His focus, he said, is on his ambition to contest for the Senate to represent Plateau Central. He added that his goal is to serve the people through practical and people driven representation that will bring real social and economic benefits to communities in the zone.

He also noted that any suggestion that he is pursuing a different political path is not true and does not reflect his clearly stated plans. Chief Kefas reassured party members and supporters that his loyalty to the PDP and his commitment to the people of Plateau Central remain firm.
