Hon. (Dr.) Kakmena Goteng Audu, former Chairman of Pankshin Local Government Council and former Commissioner for Higher Education, has welcomed Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang into the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Speaking on behalf of his political associates and progressive stakeholders across Plateau State, Hon. Kakmena described the governor’s decision as a major turning point that will strengthen the APC and improve the party’s ability to deliver good governance in the state.
He congratulated Governor Mutfwang on joining the party and stressed the need for inclusive leadership that brings together both old and new members of the APC. According to him, unity and teamwork within the party will be key to winning elections at both the state and national levels in the coming years.
Hon. Kakmena also praised Governor Mutfwang’s dedication to the development of Plateau State and his commitment to good governance. He noted that the governor’s experience, leadership qualities, and wide acceptance among the people will help strengthen the party as preparations begin for the 2027 general elections.
He added that Governor Mutfwang’s move to the APC offers a strong opportunity to deepen democracy, promote sustainable development, and build a more united political platform that will serve the best interests of all Plateau State citizens.
