Two youths from Umuahia South LGA of Abia State have been confirmed dead after a motorcycle they were riding on, was involved in a headon collission with a Mark Truck conveying Chippings.
The accident which happened at Express way Tower in Umuahia on Thursday, resulted in the death of the two young men.
An eye witness at the scene said that the motorcycle was on high speed when it lost control and crashed into the Mark Truck.
” The man was carrying somebody on the bike and was trying to negotiate through the expressway but suddenly, we heard a loud bang and behold, the two youths lost their lives”
Officials of the Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC who quickly arrived scene, evacuated the bodies of the victims to the hospital where they were confirmed dead.
The incident was confirmed by the Sector Commander of Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC Abia State Command Ngozi Ezeoma .
