Nollywood actress Toyin Abraham has unfollowed her colleague Funke Akindele on Instagram following a public snub at a movie premiere.
The incident occurred during the premiere of a film produced by Iyabo Ojo. Video footage from the event shows Toyin greeting Iyabo Ojo at her table, after which she extended a greeting to Funke Akindele, who was seated beside her. Funke reportedly ignored Toyin, prompting her to leave and greet Mercy Aigbe instead.
The video quickly went viral, drawing widespread attention online. In response, Toyin announced that she had unfollowed Funke and vowed never to greet her again, writing: “I have unfollow her, God forbid bad thing. If I ever greet her again that means I am a bastard.”
A search confirms that Toyin Abraham has unfollowed Funke Akindele, and Funke has also unfollowed Toyin in return.
