Chief Kefas Wungak Ropshik, popularly known as Kefiano, has officially emerged winner of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) gubernatorial primaries in Plateau State.
His victory means he will represent the PDP in the forthcoming governorship election in the state.
Following his emergence, Ropshik expressed gratitude to party members and supporters for the confidence reposed in him.
“I humbly accept the nomination of our great party with gratitude and a renewed commitment to place Plateau First,” he stated.
He described the victory as one for the people of Plateau State, promising to work towards unity, peace, security, and development.
“This victory belongs to the people, and together we will build a united, secure, and prosperous Plateau. The journey begins now,” he added.
Supporters and party faithful have continued to celebrate his emergence, expressing optimism about the party’s chances in the upcoming election under the slogan, #PlateauFirst.
