Leonid Radvinsky, the billionaire owner of the subscription platform OnlyFans, has died at the age of 43 after a prolonged battle with cancer.
The news was confirmed on Monday in a statement released by the company, which expressed condolences to his family. A spokesperson said Radvinsky passed away peacefully and that his family has requested privacy during this period.
Radvinsky acquired OnlyFans’ parent company, Fenix International, in 2018, becoming the majority shareholder and director of the platform until his death.
OnlyFans was originally created by British father-and-son duo Guy Stokely and Tim Stokely as a platform designed to allow content creators to earn directly from subscribers.
The platform experienced a major surge in popularity during the COVID-19 pandemic, as lockdowns pushed more creators and users online. According to Bloomberg, users spent a record $7.2 billion on the service in 2024, while Radvinsky reportedly received $1.8 billion in dividends between 2021 and 2025.
Reports also indicated that Radvinsky had attempted to sell the platform last year but faced difficulties securing a buyer.
