Relationship expert and social media influencer, Blessing CEO, has addressed critics urging her to provide proof of her reported stage-four breast cancer, explaining why she has chosen not to make her medical records public.
In a video shared on her Instagram page on Thursday, she said her test results are complex documents that require medical expertise to interpret, adding that sharing them online could be easily misunderstood by the general public. She revealed that close friends have already consulted medical professionals abroad to review her results.
“I can’t put my result on social media because a lot of you cannot make meaning out of it. Only medical doctors can. I don’t need multiple analyses. If someone prominent reaches out, I am willing to share all the evidence privately,” she stated.
Blessing CEO emphasized that her decision to speak about her condition was not for financial gain, but to open up about her journey. She described feeling confused and emotional when she first received her diagnosis, noting that sharing her experience was encouraged by friends who wanted her to have support.
“The aim was not to beg for money. I was completely clueless because I didn’t know anything about cancer. The goal was to be vulnerable, not to beg Nigerians for money. A lot of my followers have been with me since I started social media and have become closer than family. I broke down, and I posted because my friends insisted that I could not do this alone,” she added.
