Kun Khalifat FC have dedicated their matchday 33 victory over Nasarawa United to their late team manager, Chijioke Ekpemandu.
The Owerri-based club defeated Nasarawa United 1-0 at the Lafia City Stadium on Sunday.
Otu Stanley scored the winning goal for Kun Khalifat FC in stoppage time.
Ekpemandu’s death was announced a few hours before kick-off.
“RIP CJ we dedicate this win to you.” Kun Khalifat FC wrote after the match.
Kun Khalifat FC remain at the bottom of the league table despite the victory.
