The attention of the campaign team of Hon. Timdi Nkat has been drawn to a misleading and baseless publication claiming that he has withdrawn from the Mikang State Assembly race on the platform of APC.
The publication is false, cheap and clearly the handiwork of desperate politicians who have already felt the growing acceptance, support and momentum behind Hon. Timdi Nkat across Mikang Constituency.
At no point did Hon. Timdi Nkat withdraw from the race, neither has he held any meeting or consultation suggesting such. He remains fully in the contest and focused ahead of tomorrow’s primary election.
It is obvious that Speaker Naanlong, has felt the political impact and growing strength of Hon. Timdi Nkat’s movement across the constituency. If anyone wishes to withdraw in order to maintain political relevance, such decision should be personal and not dragged into the name of Hon. Timdi Nkat.
The people of Mikang are already aware of the desperation and misinformation being circulated to create confusion among supporters. However, the campaign remains calm, focused and confident of victory.
We therefore urge our supporters, party faithful and well wishers to disregard the fake publication in its entirety. Hon. Timdi Nkat remains in the race, stronger than ever, and by the grace of God, the movement is crossing into victory tomorrow.
We also call on all supporters and well-wishers across Mikang Constituency to come out in large numbers tomorrow, remain peaceful and vote massively for Hon. Timdi Nkat during the APC primary election.
