Plateau State is once again set to become the epicentre of literary excellence as it hosts the 3rd Plateau International Literary Festival (PILFES) 2026, a gathering of renowned writers, scholars, creatives, and literary enthusiasts from across Nigeria and beyond.
This year’s festival is themed:
“Literature and Identity: Towards Peaceful Coexistence on the Plateau and Beyond.”
The festival promises a rich blend of intellectual engagement, creative expression, and cultural exchange, reinforcing literature’s role as a bridge for peace, identity, and social harmony.
