The management and staff of Plateau State Specialist Hospital have congratulated Plateau State Governor, Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, on the occasion of his third anniversary in office, commending his leadership and commitment to development across the state.
In a congratulatory message signed by the Chief Medical Director of the hospital, Christopher Sabo Yilgwan, the hospital described Governor Mutfwang’s administration as impactful and transformative.
The statement, issued on behalf of the management and staff of the hospital, noted that the governor’s leadership had brought institutional transformation, rapid growth, and renewed hope to the people of Plateau State.
According to the hospital management, the administration has recorded significant achievements in the health sector, particularly at the Plateau State Specialist Hospital in Jos.
The statement highlighted some of the developments to include the expansion of residency training programmes, installation and equipping of a state-of-the-art laboratory, completion and furnishing of a new administrative block, expansion of the paediatric complex, increased manpower, and the establishment of a functional radio-diagnostic centre.
Other achievements listed include the migration to Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and the installation of renewable solar energy facilities within the hospital.
The hospital management stated that the improvements had repositioned the institution for sustainable progress while restoring public confidence in state-owned healthcare facilities.
It also reaffirmed its commitment to delivering quality, accessible, and patient-centred healthcare services in line with the governor’s vision for the health sector.
The congratulatory message further prayed for God’s continued guidance, strength, and wisdom for Governor Mutfwang as he continues to lead the state.
