The Middle Belt for Bola Ahmed Tinubu (MB4BAT) on Friday paid a courtesy visit to the Ujah Anaguta of Jos North, His Royal Majesty, Johnson Jauro Magaji II, as part of its ongoing engagement with critical stakeholders, traditional institutions, community leaders, and interest groups across the region.
Speaking during the visit at the Ujah’s Palace in Jos North, the delegation reiterated that the organisation’s mission is to promote peace, security, and good governance in the Middle Belt and Nigeria at large. The group noted that the engagement forms part of efforts to mobilise support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s initiatives aimed at advancing peace, strengthening security, and delivering the dividends of good governance to Nigerians under the Renewed Hope Agenda.
The delegation emphasized that traditional rulers remain indispensable partners in fostering unity, peaceful coexistence, and grassroots participation in nation building, adding that sustained collaboration with key stakeholders is necessary to address emerging security challenges confronting the country.
Responding, the Ujah Anaguta, His Royal Majesty Johnson Jauro Magaji II, commended the organisation for its proactive engagement and acknowledged that insecurity remains one of the major challenges facing the region and the nation. The revered traditional ruler stressed the need for collective responsibility in tackling insecurity and promoting peaceful coexistence among communities.
He further pledged his support and collaboration with MB4BAT in its efforts to promote peace, security, and stability, expressing optimism that through partnership and dialogue, lasting solutions to the country’s challenges can be achieved.
The visit ended with a renewed commitment by both parties to work together in advancing peace, security, and good governance for the benefit of all Nigerians.
