The Speaker of the Plateau State House of Assembly, Naanlong Daniel, has congratulated Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda on his re-emergence as National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

In a goodwill message, the Speaker described Yilwatda’s emergence through a peaceful and widely accepted consensus as a strong vote of confidence in his leadership capacity and unifying disposition.
He noted that the development reflects the strength of internal democracy within the party, adding that Yilwatda’s leadership style, marked by inclusiveness and a commitment to ensuring all stakeholders feel a sense of belonging, has earned him widespread trust and support.

The Speaker also acknowledged the backing of key stakeholders within the party, including President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, noting that such support underscores the confidence reposed in the new party leadership.
Rt. Hon. Daniel further stated that during Yilwatda’s previous tenure, the APC recorded improvements in internal cohesion, organizational structure, and strategic coordination, expressing optimism that his return would consolidate these gains and reposition the party for greater unity and electoral success.
He commended the leadership of the party, including the President, Vice President, National Assembly leadership, governors, and members of the National Executive Committee, for ensuring a smooth and consensus-driven process.
The Speaker assured the National Chairman and members of the National Working Committee of the support and solidarity of the Plateau State House of Assembly and the people of Plateau State.
He also prayed for wisdom, strength, and good health for the party leadership as they steer the affairs of the APC.
