The Jos Creatives Industry & Awards Night came alive with glamour, entertainment, and celebration as creative professionals, entertainers, media practitioners, fashion enthusiasts, and industry stakeholders gathered at the Usiju World Event Center, Jos, to honour excellence and innovation within Plateau State’s creative industry.
Organised by the Performing Musicians Employers’ Association of Nigeria (PMAN), Plateau State Chapter, the event celebrated outstanding individuals and organisations whose contributions have continued to shape and promote the creative sector. It also served as a platform for networking, collaboration, and recognising talents across music, comedy, fashion, content creation, media, dance, and other creative fields.
Among the highlights of the evening was the presentation of awards to distinguished personalities, including veteran entertainer Nde Dantala, gospel music icon Panam Percy Paul, media personality Naomi Gadzama, creative entrepreneur Color Humphrey, and entertainment figure Jethro, in recognition of their remarkable contributions to the growth and development of the creative industry.
The event featured live musical performances, comedy, dance displays, runway showcases, and other captivating performances that reflected the diversity and richness of Plateau State’s creative ecosystem.
Speaking during the event, organisers described the awards as a recognition of individuals whose dedication, creativity, and impact continue to inspire excellence while positioning Plateau State as one of Nigeria’s emerging creative and entertainment hubs.
The colourful ceremony ended with a renewed call for greater collaboration among creatives, government institutions, and private sector stakeholders to strengthen the creative economy and create more opportunities for young talents across Plateau State.
