HON. RAMNAP HOSTS FEMALE MEDIA AIDES, REAFFIRMS COMMITMENT TO WOMEN INCLUSION

Honourable Commissioner for Information and Communication, Rt. Hon. Joyce Lohya Ramnap mni, has received members of the Association of Female Media Aides to Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang on a courtesy visit, describing the meeting as a clearFB IMG reflection of the “Time Is Now” administration’s commitment to gender inclusion and women empowerment.

Speaking during the visit, Hon. Ramnap praised the female media aides for their dedication and professionalism in projecting the policies and programmes of the government. She stressed that effective communication is key to advancing the vision of the “Time Is Now” administration under the leadership of His Excellency, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang.

The Commissioner expressed satisfaction with the strong presence of women in the current administration, noting that 32 women have been appointed to strategic positions, including Senior Special Assistants, Special Assistants, and Principal Special Assistants on Media. According to her, this reflects the government’s deliberate effort to carry women along and ensure gender balance in governance.

She also called for stronger collaboration between the government and the media to ensure that the achievements and activities of the Mutfwang-led administration are properly communicated to the public.

In their response, the female media aides thanked the Commissioner for the warm reception and pledged their continued support in promoting transparency, accountability, and accurate information about government activities.

The visit further highlights the Plateau State Government’s resolve to empower women and ensure their active participation in governance and decision-making.
