African champions Super Falcons of Nigeria lost 1-0 to the Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon in a friendly at the Military Stadium, Yaoundé on Saturday night.

Super Falcons head coach Justine Madugu started majority of his fringe players in the game.

The West Africans dominated play but failed to convert their chances.

Cameroon, who put a resolute display at the back also make occasional forays upfront.

Mbomezomo Yvana scored the winning goal for the Indomitable Lionesses on the dot of 90 minutes.

The two teams will do battle again in the second friendly also at the Military Stadium next week Tuesday.
