Hon. Latep Dabang has been appointed Adviser on Inter-Party Affairs to the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda.
With this appointment, Dabang will play a key role in strengthening unity within the APC and managing the party’s relationship with other political parties as it prepares for important national engagements.
Party stakeholders say the appointment shows strong confidence in Dabang’s experience, negotiation skills, and deep involvement in both Plateau State and national politics.
Before taking up this new role, Dabang served as Senior Special Adviser on Political Matters to the Plateau State Governor, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, where he was instrumental in political coordination and stakeholder engagement.
Over the years, he has earned a reputation as a grassroots politician who brings people together, builds party structures, and encourages dialogue among different political groups across Plateau State.
His new role as Adviser on Inter-Party Affairs is widely seen as recognition of his political growth and his ability to contribute to the APC’s goal of promoting cooperation, stability, and inclusive political engagement across the country.
