Rt. Hon. Yusuf Adamu Gagdi, Member representing Pankshin, Kanke and Kanam Federal Constituency and Chairman, House Committee on Navy, has concluded his three-day ward-to-ward consultation tour aimed at engaging constituents ahead of the forthcoming primary election of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The last phase of the tour took the lawmaker to nine federal wards, including Jarmai/Jom, Kunkyam, Namaran, Gwamlar, Gumsher, Amper B, Amper Central, Wokkos, and Pankshin Central, where party members and residents turned out in large numbers.
Across the visited wards, constituents expressed strong support for Gagdi, commending his representation and pledging continued backing as preparations intensify for the All Progressives Congress primary election.
Addressing constituents during the visits, Gagdi highlighted several interventions already executed under his representation, including healthcare facilities, laboratories, community halls, boreholes, empowerment programmes, and sponsorship of WAEC, NECO, and JAMB registrations for students.
“I have always believed that representation must bring visible impact to the lives of the people. That is why we focused on schools, hospitals, water projects, empowerment and opportunities for our youths,” he said.
The lawmaker also pointed to his efforts in securing employment opportunities for constituents in federal agencies and institutions, noting that opening doors for young people remains one of his priorities in public service.
“Our people deserve opportunities. Beyond projects, we have worked to secure jobs for our sons and daughters, and by the grace of God we will continue to do more if given another mandate,” Gagdi stated.
He urged residents to reject divisive politics based on religion, tribe, or hatred, stressing that leadership should be judged by credibility, competence, and the ability to deliver results to the people.
“Politics of religion, tribe, or deceit will not move our constituency forward. What should matter is sincerity, capacity, and commitment to development. With your support, we shall continue to succeed together,” he added.
Ward leaders of the All Progressives Congress in the visited communities pledged full support for Rt. Hon. Yusuf Adamu Gagdi, assuring him of their loyalty ahead of the elections. They said members remain united and committed to strengthening the party, while also commending the lawmaker for his consistent support and praying for his victory in the forthcoming polls.
Hon. Gagdi has reaffirmed his commitment to delivering more development projects and quality representation to the people of Pankshin, Kanke and Kanam Federal Constituency if re-elected
